Cool Dow Jones gained

Stocks in US like the Dow & S&P, the Nasdaq opened on a steady note as the banking sector rose from positive analyst comments and adding to this minutes from the Federal Reserve's last meeting reduced concern over rising rates. Doug Roberts, chief investment strategist at Channel Capital Research.com, in Shrewsbury, New Jersey said: "The crisis seems to be contained, but there is still enough uncertainty and enough high unemployment that the Fed looks like they will have loose monetary policy for an extended period of time."
The Dow Jones gained 0.03 percent, to end at 10,973.55. The S&P 0.17 percent up to finish at 1,189.44. The Nasdaq shot up 0.30 percent, to 2,436.81.
