European equities FTSE,CAC and DAX were seen closing higher

European equities like the FTSE , CAC and DAX were seen closing higher, encouraged by fresh corporate earnings reports and improved hopes that the global economic recovery is sustainable.Miners were among the top performers.
Lothar Mentel, chief investment officer at Octopus Investments said: "European markets are holding up following on from last week's positive news on U.S. quantitative easing and valuations are still at acceptable levels."
FTSE Index edged up 0.4 percent higher, DAX Index & CAC Index rose between 0.6-0.8 percent.
