Newbie here...ripped off by my broker?
So me and a buddie decide to buy some calls on ZSL. We get in on may 2nd right after the market opens. We bought 12 contracts of the 29 august calls at .70...the underlying price was around 15.30. When ZSL hit 17.50 today we decided to sell. Scottrades market quote for those options were Bid:95 Ask:1.20 and last 1.15. We put in a market order to sell thinkin we would get the 1.15 market price, but we only ended up getting .80. WTF?...how can this be? The price of the underlying went up almost 20% and our option only went up .10cents? I called the broker and he said I must have just read the wrong quote...BS. Does anyone have any opinions about this?
