The US dollar recovered a bit after losing its ground against the yen. The euro was seen dull against the dollar as investors booked profits on its recent rise ahead of US jobs data.Investors are expecting that the Federal Reserve would start pumping more money into the US economy next month to boost the growth of the economy.Pound rose when the Bank of England kept interest rates on hold, though profit-taking pushed it back to $1.5861 by afternoon.
The euro last traded at $1.3910, down 0.2 percent. The dollar fell 0.6 percent to 82.36 yen. Pound rose to $1.6019.
