New to the site and the investing world

Hello I am new here and looking to start investing money to make it somewhere in life. A little about me I am 28 married with a 2 year old kid. I own my own home in Jacksonville, FL. It is a upsidedown mortage and I am not sure of what to do with it. I dont have much money but would like to start getting my feet wet in the stock market but dont know where to look. Anyone got any good links or advice would be a big help. As I am new to all this and dont want to loose the little I got.
