Jan 26, 2009 (BAYSTREET NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- DALLAS, Texas - Beacon Equity Research announces the release of Trade Alerts: Bald Eagle Energy Inc. (OTCBB: BEEI), Nuance Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: NUAN), Geron Corp. (Nasdaq: GERN), Amedisys Inc. (Nasdaq: AMED), Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) and Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq: RMBS). In the Trade Alert, the author highlights Bald Eagle Energy's filing of its plan of operation for the next 12 months: "Bald Eagle Energy Inc. (BEEI) shares soared 23.68% to trade at 23 cents Monday morning. Bald Eagle is an exploration-stage company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Canada. It primarily focuses on copper, silver and gold properties. ... The company recently disclosed in a regulatory filing its plan of operation for the next 12 months. For the period, Bald Eagle plans to fully evaluate the exploration potential of the six North Slope Leases in the Alaska North Slope petroleum province and to prepare for the first exploration field operations on those leases, which would be new seismic data acquisition during the winter season of 2010. In addition, the company plans to evaluate further new exploration opportunities in Alaska, focusing in the North Slope area." The Trade Alert author also featured Nuance Communications' announcement it is extending its offer to purchase shares of Zi Corp.:

"Nuance Communications Inc. (NUAN) shares rose 1.18% to $10.32 Monday morning. Nuance Communications offers speech-based solutions for businesses and consumers worldwide. ... To provide Zi shareholders additional time to consider the merits of the offer, Nuance Communications recently announced it is extending its offer to purchase all of the outstanding common shares of Zi Corp. for 40 cents per share in cash to 5 p.m. (Calgary time) January 30, 2009, previously scheduled to expire at 5 p.m. (Calgary time) January 16, 2009. As of the close of business January 15, 2009, approximately 563,560 common shares of Zi were validly tendered and not withdrawn pursuant to the tender offer."
