Can you sue a bankrupt company?

I was wondering if anyone had law experience that could answer this question. I am trying to find out about about suing a bankrupt company in a class action lawsuit. For example, a company called Sunrocket went out of business and from what I've been hearing about on other forums, they may have no money left and have gone bankrupt.

I was hoping someone could answer this question, it's kind of confusing. If there is no money left to take, I think it would be fair enough to say that criminal actions could be taken against the company and it's owners.
