This year the main victim of cyber criminals was Liberty Reserve payment system, which was disabled several times in 2008.

Nigerian plastic cards to meet convenience needs
Nigerian market is to see the introduction of a new brand of MasterCard credit cards with improved characteristics intended to enhance customer satisfaction during financial transactions. The new product is to be introduced by First City Monument Bank plc (FCMB).
The card is said to provide better holder identification and upgraded features to bring more convenience to the shoppers. Now the product is undergoing pilot stage. This legal action was taken placed when a few victims of this scam made reports and complaints to the authority and millions of pesos have been scammed by those who owned and operated this program.
