Rockwell Securities Scamming or Legit Offer?

Quick question from a newbie. I was recently called by a broker offering me stock in BP oil at prices that were below what is listed on the stock exchange. Is there any chance this is legit? All advice is appreciated as I'm under some time pressure to liquidate some of my current assets in order to maximize my shares in this new opportunity. Thanks alot for any help. By the way, don't know if this is relevant, but the broker who called me works for Rockwell Securities in New York City. Thanks again.
