Given the vast amount of differing types of insurance, there are definitely not 6 principles that would apply to all insurance. In reference to another post, subrogation and proximate cause would not apply in any way to life insurance. Subrogation, proximate cause, and (some might say) good faith would not apply to health insurance either.
