The actual definition of an interview is group communication with a purpose or goal. This could be trying to make a sale or making a career as well. The whole purpose of an interview is the exchange of questions and answers.

In a job interview though, you are trying to sell yourself. If you have a business, you would want to make your product look nice and show all the specs and benefits of a product and what it can do for the customer. The same is true for an interview, you have to look nice and you are trying to show the interviewer what you can do for the company.

As an employer, you are also involved in trying to weed out bad candidates and pick the cream of the crop. In the business viewpoint, you are trying to get the most for your money. You would do this like with any product such as buying a car or a house, you are going to want to find out if there is anything hidden, so you are going to want to ask the certain kinds of questions involved in the above list of articles.
